Safety Precautions

  • Meet & greets are completed for most bookings (exceptions for emergencies & out-of-town guests may be possible)
  • Current guests do not participate in meet & greets
  • Introductions are done slowly when a guest is dropped off for their booking
  • All dogs are separated during meals
  • Spray water bottles are used to defuse tense situations
  • An ultrasonic dog remote (makes a sound that only dogs can hear) is sometimes used to deescalate a situation from afar
  • Guests do not go for walks during their stay here; the fenced in yard is plenty of exercise with less risks
  • Constant supervision

*Please keep your vet information up-to-date on your Rover profile. In the event of an emergency, I will try my best to bring them to the vet of your choice. However, there may be more extreme situations where I will need to make a judgement call and go to the closest facility to my home. You, of course, will be notified ASAP.*

**Prevention is key when boarding your pets. Please remember to keep your pet up to date on vaccines and flea/tick medication. It is a good idea to keep your pet’s ID tag on their collar during their stay. In the event that they do get out, we want someone to be able to call you right away. Having an Airtag, or a similar device, on their collar is even better.**
